Founder’s Bio
Mason Withers is Managing Director of PyroRisk. With nearly 20 years of experience in the utility industry, Mason is a recognized leader in wildfire risk mitigation, quantitative risk analysis, and electric reliability strategy. Prior to launching PyroRisk, Mason held senior roles at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), KPMG, Filsinger Energy Partners (FEP), where he served as Senior Director. At SDG&E, Mason was instrumental in the development of one of the industry’s leading utility wildfire risk mitigation programs. He has brought that experience to several utilities since 2021.
